More about Annabelle:
The scary Annabelle doll is actually a cute looking Raggedy Ann Doll that is believed to be haunted. Back in the 70s, a nurse student Donna got it as a gift from her mother. She kept the doll with her in her apartment, where she lived with her colleague named Angie.
After few days, Donna and Angie started experiencing strange things like misplacing of their things and doll changing position by itself. Also, sometimes doll was found in some other rooms and strange things written on their room walls. After some help from a medium, the duo got to know that the doll was being manipulated by a spirit named Annabelle Higgins, who dies under mysterious circumstances and found comfort in the duo’s company.
The girl duo after experiencing worst nightmares contacted Warrens, Ed and Lorraine, demonologists. The Warrens, after reading Annabelle, said that the doll was being possessed not by a little girl’s spirit but by a daemon and that the daemon had been trying to enter one of the girls’ body. An exorcism was performed on the doll and their apartment with the help of the church and the doll now sits in a glass box at the Warrens’ Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut.
